Return of tha King

It's been a minute but I'm back folks. Sorry for leaving you all in a sports limbo, but I do thank Mr. McGreezy for holding it down for me during my absence! In my highly anticipated return I will be diving more into the Houston sports scene with not just professional news but hopefully some high school and college along with professional sports. There has been a lot happening in the local sports scene from the emergence of Texas Southern as a power house in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC), to the University of Houston football team descending to its first losing season since 2004, and to the Lions of Jack Yates resuming their dominance of the high school basketball world in Texas. Of course there is everybody's favorite, the Houston Texans, stumbling further and further away from the playoffs...

I guess it should all be expected and perhaps disappointing in the same breath...the Texans that is...I mean how do you expect to win when you play conservative ball!? No one wins playing conservatively. I also distinctly remember a while back a discussion that was brought up here on this very sight concerning Dunta Robinson's importance to the Texans success and I was told that it was best that the Texans let him go!? Well let me just say this...BULLSHIT!!! I said it before and I will say it again: The Texans should have amassed some bread and kept Dunta around, but hell I guess that is just the ramblings of a lone sports writer. Well folks this is just a little something to wet your whistle and get your mouth salivating for an interesting remainder of 2010 and an exciting 2011. I'm back dammit and I will never leave you all alone again.
